2099 Reviews: X-Men: Evolution (2000-2003)

X-Men: Evolution is a 2000 TV series and my current favorite of the X-Men cartoons.

Good Qualities

1. Great theme song and animation.
2. It doesn't follow a sliding timescale: the X-Men start out as teenagers then eventually graduate into adults.
3. It stays away from the Jean Grey/Cyclops/Wolverine Love Triangle which, lets face it, has been done to death.
4. All the X-Men have their own individual, and realistic, personalities, making them good, three-dimensional characters.

Bad Qualities

1. An interesting sounding 5th season was cancelled.
