Personality
Paul was usually calm yet the teasing type as typically teased Scott for his feelings for Jean and originally Rogue. After mutants were exposed, his attitude towards his friends, mainly Scott, changed as he, like most of the other students at Bayville High, became anti-mutant.
Season One
Paul attended Bayville High School's football game and sat with Scott, Paul sat on the bleachers and flipped a quarter coin around his fingers. After Scott suggested he check his pockets as there was a thief close to them, Paul then asked if the police should be called but was told to keep the option open as Scott went to deal with the thief.
The day after, Paul walked over to Scott and told him he would see him at cafeteria. The latter then asked his friend to save him a seat as he walked away from his locker. Paul then waved to Scott after noticing him on the phone.
During drama class, a class that also included Scott and Rogue, Paul was paired up with Taryn Fujioka for their project which was to re-enact a scene from Henry V, a play by William Shakespeare that tells the story of the King with the same name. After witnessing Rogue talk to Scott and ask that his friends keep their distance from her in which she called her future teammates weirdos, Paul then laughed at how Rogue didn't see romantically interested in Scott and mocked him for it, an action that caused Scott to tell him to be quiet.
Paul was one of the students who were invited on a school trip but was told false information by Principal Darkhölme such as a wrong departure time. Instead, Mystique took his place by taking his form. SpykeCam
Paul sat with Taryn during the presentation to see Evan's homemade film. The two also attended a showing of Dracula: The Rock Opera.
Season Two
Paul attends the school assembly and sits with Scott, he then took notice that Scott took a liking to Jean. As Jean walked into the room, Paul pointed her out and teased his friend about it but saw how disappointed Scott seemed after seeing Jean sit with Duncan. After an "earthquake" seemingly hit, Paul remained calm. During the girl's last soccer game, Paul attended but sat behind Scott rather than next to him.
Paul was one of many Bayville citizens to see the news the day mutants were exposed on media in which he saw Scott outed as one. During this, he heard the President urge people to remain calm during the incident that involved the mutants fighting off a Sentinel.
Season Three
Like many of his classmates, Paul was in shock that mutants were among the students. Upon learning this, Paul stopped showing interest in being Scott's friend. But in reality he kept it more low key
