Lucid is a Morlock living in the sewers of Bayville due to his appearance.
X-Treme Measures[]
After Power-8 starts becoming popular, Lucid, including a few other members of the Morlocks, targeted and attacked the production factory in order to destroy the drink before it could harm other mutants. After saving Evan after he had drank some of the Power-8, Lucid stood with his teammates and watched as he had woken up. due to Guy Spears upgrading his security, Lucid suggests to the arguing Caliban and Callisto that they can use Evan's help in getting easier access. After the Morlocks explain to Evan about who they are and why they live in the sewers, the group then further explain why they are attacking the Power-8 production factory as the drink is toxic to mutantkind and can lead some to near death.
At the plant, Lucid uses X-Ray vision to show his team, and Evan, which rooms they need to enter in order to fully complete their mission of destroying the drink. Needing to escape being hit by the overflowing drink, Lucid and the rest of his team run into the drains to avoid it only to find themselves in a dead end. Once the X-Men appear, the Morlocks are safely transported to a better spot by Jean's telekinesis with Lucid being the second one she saved.
That night, Lucid was present once Evan returned to the Morlocks to join them due to his spikes no longer being able to retract at will.
Uprising[]
Wanting to feed the other Morlocks, Lucid silently lifts the manhole cover up near a local restaurant and so he can take the leftovers from its dumpster. Using his powers, he then uses the combination on the lock and manages to get inside where he grabs a bag of food only for a car of anti-mutants to appear and attack him, Lucid panics but is soon saved by Evan. After the anti-mutants leave, Lucid apologises for what his attackers did but is told by Evan that the situation is not his fault as the two return to the safety of the sewers.
Powers and Abilities[]
Lucid has the power of X-Ray vision which grants him the ability to see through solid objects. It is unknown if he is able to se through lead, a material that even X-Ray powered mutants struggle to see through.
Trivia[]
- This version of Lucid was only made for show, much like X-23, however in 2016, in a comic titled "Extraordinary X-Men #17, a girl named Maya Jackson had the same powers as Evolution Lucid, the only different between the two is that Maya died after becoming a member of the X-Men and under the alias of Lucid, a name that she had made herself.
