- In the comics, Lockheed is Kitty's closest non-human bonded ally and is a rare species of quadrupedal aliens that appear as small dragons, he is purple in the comics and other media while green in X-Men: Evolution.[1]
- Lockheed appeared in "Pryde of the X-Men" released in 1989.
- In "The New Mutants", Lockheed once again appears as a real dragon and a comfort friend to Illyana Rasputin, the mutant known as Magik and younger sister of Colossus.
