History[]
After being captured by his rival team, The Rippers, the latter group used their hostage to draw out Remy LeBeau, their prisoner's adoptive son. After discovering of his father's capture, Remy kidnapped Rogue and claimed that he was helping her relieve the stress she had by taking her away to New Orleans though in reality, Remy only wanted Rogue so she could use her powers to absorb information on Jean-Luc's whereabouts. After Rogue discovered the truth on why she was in New Orleans, she seemingly left, Remy then stormed the base himself and freed his adoptive father only to be ambushed by more members of The Rippers. The two were then subsequently saved by Rogue and she used the memories of Jean-Luc's captors in order to lead the two back outside, after the X-Men assisted in helping Rogue, Remy lead Jean-Luc away from the team.
Personality[]
Despite adopting Remy, Jean-Luc only appreciated his adoptive son for his abilities and often used them to his advantage which caused Remy to not see him as a father figure. Jean-Luc also showed interest in other mutants though only for his own gain. He is a selfish man whose only interest is helping himself by doing what he considers right. Despite knowing of mutants, he is neither ally nor enemy of them though sees them as a possible advantage to do his dirty work. But despite his nature, he still shows to some degree to care for his adoptive son despite Remy having mixed feelings about it.
Psychical Appearance[]
He is a tall man with a build of approximately 6" and 5". Jean-Luc has long brown hair that is tied back into a ponytail by a black hairband. He has a thin moustache that almost reaches his jawline and a slightly point chin. He wears a teal blue shirt with short sleeves, dark blue trousers and black boots.

- In the comics Jean-Luc had one other son, Henri LeBeau, who passed away.
- In the comics Jean-Luc adopted Remy after the child picked his pocket.
- Jean-Luc is the first parent of either The Brotherhood or The Acolytes to be shown and not be a mutant themself.
- He is a known human to not hate mutants, the first being Amanda Sefton,and second being Nick Fury.
