Mr. Smith is the father of Tabitha Smith.
History[]
Mr. Smith's history; prior to the start of the series is unknown, but what is known is that he used his daughter's powers to commit several felonies.
In the episode Bada-Bing Bada-Boom, Mr. Smith came back into Tabitha's life, he first attempts to talk to Tabitha at school only to find out that he is on the restricted visitors list. He goes in anyways to try and talk to his daughter, even stating that he and her mom are trying to work things out, only for Tabitha to brush him off. This prompts him to head to the Institute to try and talk Charles Xavier into letting him see his daughter, Charles refuses which leads to him grabbing Charles and threatening to expose mutants to the world, prompting Logan to threaten to cut off his hands. Before things can escalate further, Tabitha arrives and begrudgingly agrees to talk to him in private.
Mr. Smith and Tabitha go somewhere private and begin to argue, he asks her to help him take the charity money for the school and she begrudgingly agrees as long as he promises to leave and never bother her again. Later, at the carnival, Tabitha sneaks off and blows up the lock for the safe containing the money. They attempt to run with it but are stopped by the Brotherhood of Mutants and the X-Men.
As the two teams battle Mr. Smith and Tabitha escape to the roof only for it to cave in. Tabitha desperately pleads for her father to forget the money and take her hand, only for him to ignore her and try to take the money anyways. This causes him to fall, Nightcrawler saves him, but upon reaching the ground, he grabs the money and runs out of the school only to find the police waiting, they promptly arrest him; it is very likely that he is still in prison.
Personality[]
Mr. Smith is a manipulative man, using his daughter to commit several felonies. He claims to love Tabitha but he frequently disregards her feelings, harassing her until she agrees to his demands. Furthermore, when he had the option to either grab his daughter's hand or take the money, he chose to take the money and run.
