China

History[]

China, officially the People's Republic of China, is a country in Asia. With a population of over 1.38 billion, it is the most populous country in the world. Its capital city is Beijing. China is the world's second-largest country by area and his has a vast and diverse geography, ranging from mountains and forest steppes to deserts and subtropical forests. It is also home to a vast array of wildlife, with its national symbol being the endangered giant panda.

China appears in Ascension I and Ascension II as a location for one of Apocalypse's pyramid-temples. After the X-Men and their allies fought and defeated Apocalypse, the pyramid temple vanished and China was saved.
