I don't like having to much info on a single page. That's why I created scroll sections for each season. (But that even gets annoying sometimes.) And these pages aren't to replace the marvel DC pages or compete with them. Its to enhance this wiki and lead to others. The same way they have pages that lead back here.

We don't have to write whole paragraphs about their roles in other shows, just a sentence or two explaining their roles for each show. Or maybe a link to another page about their role in other media. Merely having these little sentences will lead to other wikis, the same way they lead here.

There's also the fact that these pages could confuse visitors, especially younger ones. With the Marvel and DC wikis it's accepted that each page is about a different incarnation of certain characters, they're about their whole franchises. When people come to the X-Men Evolution wiki they expect only X-Men Evolution content, when there's content about other cartoons or the movies then visitors, especially the younger ones, will think that these other continuities must somehow be related continuity wise.

Ok, how about this, Lorisa. We'll put an "expand" button on each of the character pages for each section then add a sentence or two for each appearance in the "in other media" section. It'll make me happy because we can keep the wiki on topic and it'll make you happy because the pages won't have a bunch of information to scroll through, we can get rid of the scroll boxes, people can see where else these characters have been, and it'll link to other wikis.

When I was talking about the scroll boxes I meant for the character's season recaps. IE Scott's 'season one' section. I can't remember if I started expanded pages for them or not. That's something we could both work on on, re-writting the character's season adventures with smaller sentences or paragraphs for what they did each episode and then have an expanded/separate page for 'more info' going into detail about what happened. Same with relationships. A paragraph with the basic outlines and high points, and then a link to the page that goes deeper.

No, I mean sentences for their appearances in other media. The expand button would be for the season summaries. We don't need a whole other page based around their role in each season.

Ok, how about you come up with a compromise that will make us both happy. Clearly my ideas aren’t agreeable for you so how do you think we should incorporate our ideas regarding the different incarnations that make us both happy?

Lorisa, Steven is willing to discuss compromises. Let's be fair and here your thoughts or ideas on compromises as well. This shouldn't be about one person getting their way.

I'm just confused why Steve wants to slim down the amount of pages while creating more pages of every writer/director on the show. Even if they only worked on a single page. And hasn't corrected the formatting/column problem he's experiencing before making more. But like I've said from the start, the more pages and information the better. I've already deleted some of the credit pages and will be deleting a few more. Tough I still think time should be spend of things that are not finished. Like the season 3 & 4 character recaps. As those require many many hours of work.

I fixed the writer 'Len Uhley' page for you, please take note and do the rest yourself, and don't forget to add their photos. Use the fixed 'column' set up for anyone else you work on / fix and then deleted the other seasons as Len Uhley only worked for a single episode in season 1. I also created a new template for you without the 'art gallery' link that you wanted.

I'm trying to create pages for people and things that are related to the show. It's not about the number of pages on a wiki, it's about the quality. I'll admit that I could work on that but with something like the crew pages I at least try to make sure that we at least know which episodes they worked on.
